DETAJ's iconic Bandage series is inspired by the bandages that the designer wraps around his fingers every day during his creative work. While bandages are protective gear to prevent injury, the designer has long been fascinated by the wrinkles, overlapping fibers, and tension created by finger movement.

Bandages are used to protect the hands from the inevitable wounds that occur during the creative process. For the designer, it's like a small badge of achievement, elevating everyday materials into motifs that are both brutal and beautiful.

The new work features a more three-dimensional form and richer wrinkled expression than previous works. By actually wrapping bandages around the fingers while creating the design, the flowing lines of the wrinkles and the sense of restraint that is unique to bandages are incorporated into the design. This is an approach unique to DETAJ, which allows the sense of bandages and body becoming one to be felt at the fingertips.

The new colors are VINTAGE SILVER, which has a deep impression with a calm black shadow that stands out and exudes a worn look, and VINTAGE WHITE, which has a soft silvery-white tone that gives off a sense of tranquility and cleanliness.
