Founded in Paris in 1990 by the late Serge Thoraval — who began his career soldering jewelry for Yves Saint Laurent — Atelier Serge Thoraval has built a legacy around jewelry as intimate language. Each piece is handmade from start to finish at the atelier's Paris workshop: hammered, etched, welded, and polished entirely by hand, using recycled sterling silver. The signature technique produces hammered surfaces and sensual forms engraved with raw, poetic phrases — words worn close to the skin, deepening in patina with time, like a tattoo that earns its character. Following Serge's passing, his companion Geneviève Chevillot founded the Atelier to carry his vision forward. Today it is led by his son Rock Thoraval, alongside the original artisans who worked by Serge's side from the beginning. Every piece arrives as a small, considered object — handcrafted in limited quantities, made to be worn and never taken off.
